Gemini Auto: the complete guide
Give Gemini a list of prompts and collect every answer.
Gemini Auto is a tab in the Erasio side panel. It works through a list of prompts in Gemini on its own and saves every result — and it is not only for video. Give it a hundred written questions and it will collect a hundred answers into a single Word document. This guide starts from the beginning and assumes you have never automated anything.

A batch spends credits, so it needs to know who you are.

This tab needs Gemini to be the tab you are actually looking at when you press Run.

The whole thing, before any detail. If these four steps make sense you can already use Gemini Auto; everything below is for when you want more control.
Open the tab
Click the Erasio icon, then Gemini Auto. A short walkthrough runs the first time — skip it if you like.
Open Gemini and switch to it
It must be your active tab when you press Run. The panel blocks itself and offers a button if it is not.
Paste your prompts
One per block, blank line between. Pick what you are making from the dropdown.
Press Run
A progress window opens. Once it is running you can switch tabs freely.

Writing your prompts
If you read only one section of this page, read this one. It is the thing everybody gets wrong the first time, and it takes ten seconds to get right.
The one rule: a blank line starts a new prompt
Everything else on this page is optional. This is not. Erasio splits your text wherever it finds an empty line — so three blocks separated by blank lines are three prompts, and the same three blocks typed without blank lines are one very long prompt.

Choosing what to make
Gemini Auto covers written answers as well as pictures and video, which makes this dropdown the most important choice on the page.
Text Processing
This is the one most people want.Runs your prompts through Gemini one after another and collects the written answers.
Ingredients to Text
Sends pictures alongside each prompt and gives you a written response about them.
Text to Video
You describe a scene and Gemini generates the clip.
Frame to Video
Animates a still picture, with the prompt describing the motion.
Ingredients to Video
Feeds several reference pictures into one composed video.
Text to Image
Generates pictures from written descriptions.
Image to Image
Edits or restyles pictures you upload, guided by the prompt.

Make Gemini your active tab
This is the one rule Gemini Auto has that the other two tabs do not, and it catches everybody once.
- Gemini Auto clicks what is on screen, so Gemini has to be open and it has to be the tab in front when you press Run.
- If it is not, the panel blocks itself and offers a “Switch to Gemini” button rather than leaving you with a dead Run button and no explanation.
- Once a batch is running you are free — it keeps working on that tab while you do something else.
Decide about the watermark
The chips at the top of Control. Off, Sparkle or Veo.
- Off keeps Gemini’s own file. Sparkle and Veo are two different marks — pick the one your file actually carries.
- If removal fails for any reason, Gemini’s own download is used instead, so you never lose a result. The reason is written into the Logs section.
- Text answers have no watermark, so this does not apply to Text Processing.
Write or import your prompts
Same box, same rule, in every tab.
- One idea per block, blank line between each. The counter tells you how many Erasio can see.
- “Upload .txt” splits a text file the same way the box does.
- “Upload .csv” takes one prompt per row.
Collect the answers as a Word file
This is the feature Gemini Auto is worth installing for, and it appears on its own once there is something to save.
- When a batch of written prompts finishes, a card appears offering to save the answers.
- You get one .docx with every prompt as a heading and its answer underneath.
- There are two buttons: save the batch that just ran, or save everything currently on the Gemini page — including answers you typed yourself.
- The file lands in your Downloads folder like any other download.
Fix the one Chrome setting that breaks batches
Worth doing before your first run rather than after it fails.
- Open chrome://settings/downloads.
- Switch off “Ask where to save each file before downloading”.
- Leave it on and every generated file stops your batch with a save window, which means a fifty-prompt run needs fifty clicks.
Press Run and let it work
The progress window opens by itself and reports two stages: Generating, then Saving.
- Those two are named separately on purpose — from outside they look identical, and a stuck run is almost always in the second one.
- Hide the window and bring it back with the Progress button. Stop is always there.
- Leave the Gemini tab open until it finishes.
Every setting, in plain English
Most of these you will never touch — the defaults are chosen to work. Anything marked “Leave this alone” is safe to ignore until something specific goes wrong.
Generation
What each result is.
Aspect ratio
The shape of the frame.
When it matters: Gemini has no ratio control of its own, so Erasio asks for it inside the prompt. “Auto” leaves the choice to Gemini.
Outputs per prompt
How many results to keep from each prompt.
Chat mode
Whether each prompt opens a new conversation or continues the current one.
When it matters: Continuing is useful when your prompts build on each other. The last prompt never continues into another.
Video / image chaining
Chained prompts carry on from the previous result instead of starting fresh.
When it matters: Three chained image prompts become one picture edited three times. The final prompt always makes something new.
Reference pictures
Only shown on the modes that use them.
Frame to Video frames
Whether each prompt uses just a start frame, or a start and an end frame.
Max input images per prompt
How many pictures each Ingredients or Image to Image prompt gets.
Auto-add character images
Attaches pictures whose filename matches a name in the prompt.
Saving
What you end up with.
Download quality
How large each saved file is.
Save answers as a Word file
Collects every written answer into one .docx when the batch finishes.
When it matters: Text modes only — there is no file to save otherwise.
Auto change file name
Leave this aloneNumbers each file so a batch sorts in order.
Save as one ZIP
One archive at the end instead of a download per result.
When it matters: Erasio reads the files itself rather than using Gemini’s Download menu, so switch this off if you need the full-size originals.
Pacing
What to change if Gemini starts limiting you.
Random delay
A random wait between prompts, in seconds.
When it matters: Raise both numbers if Gemini starts rate-limiting your account. This is the first thing to try.
Concurrent prompts
How many prompts may be waiting to be saved at once.
When it matters: Forced to 1 while prompts are chained, because a chain has to happen in order.
Max retries on failure
Leave this aloneHow many times a failed prompt is tried again.
Gemini compatibility
The card to reach for when everything suddenly breaks.
Refresh now
Pulls the current locations of Gemini’s buttons from Erasio.
When it matters: Press this before reporting a bug if every prompt starts failing at once.

What a batch costs
The same rule applies in all three tabs, and nothing here is charged twice.

Put together
If a batch runs you out of credits it stops and tells you which prompt it stopped on and how many credits that prompt needed — it will not leave a progress bar frozen with no explanation. Prompts that already finished are not re-charged when you run the rest.
If something goes wrong
Find your symptom in the left column. Almost everything here is a two-minute fix.
What you see
The panel says to switch to Gemini, but Gemini is open.
Why
It is open in the background. Gemini Auto needs it to be the tab in front.
Fix
Click the button in the panel, or click the Gemini tab yourself. Once the batch is running you can switch away again.
What you see
The Word file button never appeared.
Why
There were no written answers to collect — an image or video batch has files instead.
Fix
Use Text Processing or Ingredients to Text. The card appears on its own once there is something to save.
What you see
Gemini has started refusing or slowing down your prompts.
Why
Rate limiting on your Google account.
Fix
Raise the random delay in Settings. A longer, more varied gap is far less likely to trip it.
What you see
The Run button is greyed out.
Why
Either there are no prompts in the box, or the Google page it needs is not open.
Fix
Check the prompt counter under the box, and open the Google tab. The panel tells you which one is missing.
What you see
The batch stops after the first file, with a “Save as” window open.
Why
Chrome is set to ask where to put every download.
Fix
Open chrome://settings/downloads and switch off “Ask where to save each file before downloading”.
What you see
The batch stopped on its own, part way through.
Why
Usually the Google tab was closed or navigated away. Sometimes credits ran out.
Fix
Erasio says which it was. Reopen the tab and run the remaining prompts — or top up, then re-run only what is left.
What you see
Every single prompt is failing, and it worked yesterday.
Why
Google reshipped the page and the buttons moved.
Fix
Open Settings, find the compatibility card at the bottom, and press Refresh now. That pulls the current button locations.
What you see
Files are saving, but the watermark is still on them.
Why
Either removal is switched off, or the wrong engine is selected, or the quality is one Erasio cannot intercept.
Fix
Check the watermark chips at the top of Control, try the other engine, and see the quality note in Settings.
The words we use
Prompt
One instruction you would normally type into Google yourself — one description, one question, one idea.
Batch
A whole list of prompts run one after another without you sitting there. That is the entire point of these three tabs.
Credit
What one generation costs. Your Erasio credits are shared — the same balance works on this website and in the extension.
Watermark engine
Which mark Erasio should look for. Sparkle and Veo are two different marks; picking the wrong one leaves it in place.
Queue
The list of prompts waiting their turn, and the window that shows you how far through it is.
Selectors
How Erasio finds the buttons on Google’s page. Google moves them without warning, which is why there is a Refresh button for these.

Open the Erasio side panel, switch to Gemini Auto, and start with two or three prompts.
